Indranath is a seasoned analytics practitioner with more than 16 years of industry experience ranging from hands-on modeling to client management. After having started working in the actuarial practice of erstwhile Winterthur International (now XL Catlin) in India, Indranath moved into consulting role and spent more than a decade with firms like Deloitte, EXL Inductis, Fractal Analytics and Accenture serving clients across Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America. Indranath combines his statistical expertise with astute business knowledge to deliver high impact strategies that drive client value. A domain expert in Insurance industry, he has worked in the entire insurance value chain ranging from marketing, pricing, underwriting to claims and operations. Apart from Insurance, Indranath has also worked in Telecom, CPG-Retail and Sports analytics space. In his current role as the head of Strategic Analytics in XL Catlin India, Indranath manages a team to deliver cutting edge analytics using the most advanced machine learning techniques to guide the company’s strategic goal of remaining profitable and be the best in terms of its service in the industry.
Indranath studied Economics at St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta for his bachelor’s degree and then completed his masters from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
